The Victoria Grizzlies are pleased to announce current Grizzlies defenseman, Dayne Finnson, has accepted a scholarship to play for the University of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers, NCAA Division 1 hockey club, next season.
The 20 year old Finnson has been a impact defensemen for the Grizzlies over the past two season. This year the Arborg, Manitoba native, has amassed 41 regular season points and has already chipped in 7 points in the playoffs.
“Dayne is a huge competitor and the type of player every team needs. He has worked hard for this hockey club since he got here, and certainly deserves this honour,’ added Grizzlies GM/Head Coach Craig Didmon
