The Victoria Grizzlies are pleased to announce Ethan Nother has agreed to a scholarship with the Bemidji State Beavers NCAA Division 1 hockey team. Former Victoria Grizzlies’ Gerry, Myles, and Leo Fitzgerald also earned scholarships to Bemidji state and just finished their 4th season with the Bemidji Beavers.
Nother who hails from London Ontario, played one season for the Grizzlies. Prior to this season Nother played for his hometown team London Nationals of the GOJHL. During the 2017-18 season with the Grizzlies, the slick forward was the team leading goal scorer with 26 to with his 33 helpers. Nother also followed up with 5 goals and 5 assists in the playoffs.
“Ethan was a great addition to our hockey club this season, not only was he a great contributor offensively, but also a great teammate,” commented Grizzlies GM/HC Craig Didmon. “He came to the BCHL to garner a division one scholarship and he was able to accomplish that. This honour is very well deserved”
