Justin Michaelian Accepts Scholarship with the Ferris State Bulldogs

The Victoria Grizzlies are pleased to announce former Grizzlies forward, Justin Michaelian, has accepted a scholarship with the Ferris State Bulldogs, NCAA Division I college hockey team. The Bulldogs are a member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Michaelian who hails from Detroit Michigan, played two seasons for the Grizzlies, with the bulk of his playing time on the popular “Victory Honda” line. Michaelian played on the right side along side centreman T.J Friedmann (Quinnipiac 2018), and left winger Shawn O’Malley; all of whom played together for Detroit Victory Honda (U18) in Detroit together prior to coming to Victoria.

During his 20 year old season Michaelian amassed 24 goals and 20 assists in 48 games for the Grizzlies.

“This is great news for Justin, he has worked extremely hard for this opportunity and I know he will make the best of it” commented Grizzlies Head Coach/GM Craig Didmon.
