GRIZZLIES TRADE TYLER MATHESON TO PRINCE GEORGE

The Victoria Grizzlies have traded Tyler Matheson to the Prince George Spruce Kings for 20 year old forward Alex Allan. Alex tied for 2nd in scoring for Prince George last season with 53 points.

It was the hardest decision I have made since taking over this team commented Grizzlies head coach Victor Gervais.

Tyler is not only a fan and franchise favourite but no doubt one of the finest young men to ever dawn a Grizzlies jersey. Tyler treated the fans, his team mates, Grizzlies staff and volunteers with the utmost respect and has become very close to many of them. We wish Tyler the absolute best in all of his future endeavours commented Gervais.

Prince George turned around and traded Tyler to the Grande Prairie Storm of the AJHL for the playing rights of 20 year old Brooks Robinson.
