The Grizzlies were sad to hear that former Victoria Salsa player Eddie Samuels passed away due to heart failure on August 6, 2016.
Eddie played for the Victoria Salsa as a forward during the 2004-05 season, before moving on to the Billings Bulls and then the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the NAHL
The Las Vegas native was only 30 years old when he died.
