The Victoria Grizzlies Junior A Hockey Club is a fixture in Victoria BC, and offer great live entertainment at an affordable price. When you attend a Grizzlies game you are not only witnessing live sports, but a community focused event.
Special Event Hockey Games
We offer a wide range of special event nights that focus on the mantra, “Hockey is for everyone”. From helping those in need to creating a more inclusive and welcoming space for all of our fans and community members.
In Game Entertainment
We’ve revamped our in game entertainment experience to include heart stopping pre game intros, state of the art graphic packages and behind the scenes interviews with our athletes and staff. Along with that we offer fun intermission games and promos where anyone can participate. Bucky’s Buck Shot, Popeyes Flex Cam and Millstream Dairy Queens Chuck a Puck all allow sports fans to participate and get more bang for their buck.
Grizzlies Hockey
For over 25 years the Victoria Junior A Hockey Club has showcased exciting hockey entertainment!
The Victoria Junior Hockey Club has laid claim to a BCHL championship in 2001, won many island division titles and boasts a highly touted NHL alumnus list. Jamie Benn, Tyler Bozak and Alex Newhook to name a few. All of whom put their stamp on the Grizzlies hockey in their own unique way. The Grizzlies are a premier sports team on Vancouver Island’s Victoria BC, who play 54 hockey games per season, 25 of which are played at the Grizzlies home arena; The Q Centre.
The Q Centre
The Victoria Grizzlies home, the Q Centre Arena, is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in beautiful Victoria, BC. The Q Centre is considered to be one of the premiere venues in the entire BCHL and has the feeling of ‘big league sports’ venue seating 2700 spectators in a full bowl with 10 suites and an upper VIP mezzanine with exclusive Club seating.
Community Involvement
Giving Back to the Community through live sports offers our organization the opportunity to be successful & is a top priority for the Victoria Grizzlies.
The Victoria Grizzlies are committed to many not-for profit organizations, schools and sport associations. We build solid partnerships, raise awareness and work hard to assist them in their fundraising efforts through a variety of programs.
It is imperative that each and every member of our team accepts the responsibility of being a Victoria Grizzlies ambassador both on and off the ice. We take great pride in our responsibility of giving back to the community who so generously provides valuable services to those who support us.
Volunteers and community are the back bone of our operations for whom without, there would be no Victoria Grizzlies Hockey club!
