The former JDF Minor Hockey product, Drayson Pears, is in his second season with the Grizzlies. Pears is a solid two way defensemen that has great offensive tools and can skate like the wind; on top of that though he is also a gritty and physical defenseman that is extremely hard to play against. All these great qualities makes Pears a formidable force on the blue line and a great asset for the Grizzlies.
Drayson is the youngest hockey player of the four Pears siblings. Drayson’s oldest brother, Taylor played for the Grizzlies back in 2011-2012 before jumping to University hockey. Brother Braeden currently plays for Brock University and sister Alexandria is currently rostered with Wilfred Laurier University.
