Mokhtari has had two impressive seasons for the Grizzlies already, not only putting consistent numbers on the board, but also has been a fan favourite with this exceptional level of speed and skill. You can argue the Mokhtari, aka ‘the Roadrunner’, could be the fastest and most exciting player the BCHL has to offer.

Keyvan has been scoring some big playoff goals for the team as of late.

The second double overtime period in game 7 of the series against Powell River didn’t last long. 57 seconds in, Grizzlies forward Keyvan Mokhtari walked into the Powell River zone and snapped the game and series winning goal past Wilson. The goal was Mokhtari’s first of the playoffs.

Then in game 2 of the Grizzlies 3rd Round BCHL Playoff Series against the Chilliwack Chiefs, Keyvan Mokhtari opened the scoring for the Grizzlies ripping one past Chilliwack goaltender Mark Sinclair on the powerplay. Then Mokhtari fired his second goal of the game and third of the playoffs into an empty net with 1:15 remaining in the third. Grizzlies won that game 2-0.

Keyvan Mokhtari has committed to play his NCAA Division 1 hockey for the Colorado College Tigers. The 18 year old will join the Tigers after a minimum of one more season, and the possibility of two more seasons, with the Victoria Grizzlies.
