New Victoria Grizzlies defenceman Clark Hiebert is fitting in nicely with his new team.
The former OHL blue-liner scored twice to lead the Grizzlies to a 4-2 BCHL preseason win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals on Friday night at The Q Centre.
Captain Ellis Rickwood and linemate Matthew Wood also had goals for Victoria. Grizzlies netminder Kyle Kelsey went the distance, making 23 saves.
Next up for Victoria are two preseason games against the Nanaimo Clippers next Friday and Saturday. — Times Colonist
