Byron Loucks appointed President of the Victoria Grizzlies Jr A Hockey Club

August 15th, Victoria, BC.

Victoria Grizzlies owner and Governor, Ron Walchuk, is pleased to announce the appointment of Byron Loucks as President of the Junior A Hockey Club. Byron, who formerly owned Westcoast Appliances joined the team earlier this year to help guide the team’s business operations. “We are excited to have Byron’s many years of business experience to help the Grizzlies organization reach new heights”, says Walchuk.

“I have been involved in hockey in Greater Victoria for more than 20 years, it’s my true passion, and to now have the opportunity to work in hockey is a dream come true. Our vision is to make hockey accessible for everyone, and to work with our community partners to make this vision a reality. We have a long road ahead of us after the pandemic made going out to hockey games inaccessible but wait until you see the year we have planned. It will be my pleasure to work with the Victoria Grizzlies Hockey Club and to lead the organization in achieving the visions and goals ahead of us”, says Byron.

As a team in the Victoria market, the Grizzlies are hoping to make a big impact on the sports entertainment business and solidify their spot as a premier destination for the community to enjoy a night of fun hockey action.

Keep your eye out for future announcements.
