Last Meeting – December 9, 2024: Vic 1 vs PG 2
Victoria hosted the Spruce Kings on December 9th for Teddy Bear Toss night looking for revenge as PG had beaten them 8-2 in their last meeting. The Grizzlies couldn’t really get the offense going and got just one marker from Stone Rolston on the power play in the second period at 18:31. Unfortunately for them it was not enough to crawl out of the two goal deficit they were in already after Spruce King goals in the second at 4:45 and then 17:37. Victoria outshot Prince George 38-35 and 14-9 in the third period pressing for a tying goal which they did not get. The Grizzlies went ¼ on the powerplay while Prince George went 0/1. Oliver Auyeung-Ashton made 33 saves on 35 shots for the Grizzlies.
