The Grizzlies met the Kings head on in Victoria for their third meeting of the year. Victoria started hot, leading 2-0 after 6:34 with goals from Ryan Watt (PP) and Chase Pirtle. Powell River would score twice in 25 seconds to have the game tied going into the second. Powell River took the lead 2:22 into the third before Landon Mackie tied it back up at three at 6:07. The Kings would rattle off three unanswered from the halfway point of the period to take it 6-3. Vincent Lamberti got the win for the Kings with a 36 save performance.

The Grizzlies visited the Capitals on “Terry Ryan Night” in Cowichan Valley last night and played spoiler with a dominant 6-2 victory. Reegan Hiscock found the back of the net twice in the first period, Seamus Latta scored his seventh, Chase Pirtle banged home a rebound for his 16th, Finn Kallay buried a rebound off the rush for his fourth and finally Tobias Pitka picked up his eighth of the season. Tom Molson had a five assist night yet somehow was not named one of the three stars of the game. Oliver Auyeung-Ashton made 33 saves for his ninth win of the year.
