Last Meeting
The Grizzlies took on the Express at home in front of 1400 fans in attendance for Canadian Armed Forces Night on November 23rd. The Grizzlies started on the back foot with a Coquitlam power play goal at 8:52 of the first. The Grizzlies would tie the game at 13:47 of the first thanks to a goal from Alex Hebblethwaite. The Grizzlies would jump ahead with Tom Molson putting home a rebound before a two goal lead came at the 14:16 mark from Jacksenn Hungle on on the powerplay. Tom Molson would strike for a second time, this time on the power play as well and in the third frame at the 9:54 mark before Easton Kovacs rounded out the scoring at 18:08 with an empty net goal from below his own goal line. The Grizzlies won 5-1 and sent their fans home happy. Kyle Kelsey made 41 saves on 42 shots.

Victoria visited the Rivermen after falling 8-4 to Chilliwack the night before needing a bounce back. The Grizzlies put on a strong showing and showed some resilience, having to be shorthanded seven times on the evening. Julian Cull, Jacksenn Hungle and Landon Mackie (three Victoria natives) all found the back of the goal with Mackie’s game winner coming with just over a minute and a half to play. Kyle Kelsey made 35 saves on 37 shots.
