Last Meeting – November 8, 2024: Vic 3 vs Cvc 4 (OT)

The Grizzlies welcome Cowichan into town on December 13th. The Caps lead 2-0 after 15 minutes of the first but the Grizzlies scored twice in 17 seconds to have the game knotted at two heading to the first intermission. Those goals were scored by Oscar Pantzare and Reegan Hiscock. Finn Kallay’s 3rd of the season staked the Grizzlies to a lead in the 2nd at 6:44 before Cowichan tied it with 12 seconds to play in the frame. No goals in the third period meant overtime from the Q Centre. Carter Dekay ended the game at 4:16 of overtime for Cowichan Valley.

The Grizzlies visited the Alberni Valley Bulldogs looking to leapfrog them in the standings. Alberni led 2-1 after twenty minutes with the Grizzlies goal coming by way of Malcolm Green. Victoria outscored Alberni 3-1 in the second period to lead 4-3 after forty minutes. Grizzlies goals came from; Stone Rolston, Seamus Latta and Chase Pirtle. The Grizzlies would fail to score on a lengthy five minute major power play but scored twice in 20 seconds thanks to shots from Reegan Hiscock and Landon Mackie. Kyle Kelsey got the win in goal.
