Prince George, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies look to close out their road trip with a win tonight in Prince George to make it a perfect 3-0 on the trip.
Three game road trips don’t happen often in the BCHL so that means this is a rare chance for the Grizzlies to sweep a trio on enemy ice.
Victoria is coming off a 4-3 overtime win over the Spruce Kings last night where Jacksenn Hungle had the game winner for a second straight game. It is a unique feat to score an overtime winner, let alone doing it twice in two games the way that Hungle has.
Victoria lead twice last night before they than had to come from behind in the third period so they will hope to protect the lead a little bit more effectively this evening.
Chase Pirtle found the back of the net twice last night, giving him seven goals in his last eight games.
