Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies are tasked with a tough test tonight against the Langley Rivermen in a unique, fun and special evening from the Q Centre that will see someone in attendance have their rent or mortgage paid for the month of November thanks to Auxilium Mortgage.
The Grizzlies are coming off of a 4-1 dominating performance over the Surrey Eagles last night and will look to build off of that momentum against a tough Langley Rivermen team who have started the year well at 6-4-3. Langley lost to Alberni Valley last night 3-2.
Drew Hockley was the first star for Victoria last night and picked up yet another goal and an assist in what is turning out to be a start to the year for the ages. His 8 goals and 9 assists for 17 points are tops amongst defenseman.
Oliver Auyeung-Ashton was relatively untested in his return to the lineup between the pipes but made 22 solid saves on 23 shots.
