The Victoria Grizzlies have signed forward Peter Ziak for the 2026–27 BCHL season.
Ziak, a 2007-born forward from Slovakia, brings a combination of size, skill, and offensive production to the Grizzlies lineup. The 6’2”, 190-pound forward recorded 21 goals and 35 assists for 56 points in 37 games this past season at the U20 level with HC 05 Banská Bystrica U20.
In addition to his U20 production, Ziak appeared in seven games at the professional level in Slovakia, gaining valuable experience against older competition.
“Peter is a player who combines size with offensive ability, and he’s already had exposure to pro hockey at a young age,” said Grizzlies Head Coach & GM Geoff Grimwood. “We believe he has the tools to make a strong impact in our lineup.”
Ziak will arrive in Victoria in early September for training camp.
