Grizzlies and Eagles Tango In Late Afternoon Bash

Surrey, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies visit the Surrey Eagles tonight at 4:00 p.m. at the South Surrey Arena, hoping to shake off the loss to Langley last night.

Victoria (16-18-2) finds themselves off a positive performance last night, many of whom would argue they were unlucky not to at least get a point. They led on three separate occasions, and only two unpredictable bounces stood between them and a 3-2 win.

Surrey, on the other hand, has dropped six of their last seven and sits at the bottom of the BCHL with a 5-28-3 record. They last were in action on Friday night in Prince George, losing 5-0 to the Spruce Kings. The big news around the club this past week is a trade they made, sending one of their leading scorers, Lucas Busch, to the aforementioned Spruce Kings.

Victoria will have the belief that a win tonight would be largely considered a successful weekend, picking up two wins out of three while still tracking down both the Alberni Valley Bulldogs and Nanaimo Clippers.

Puck drop is at 4:00 p.m., with the game available to listen to for free on the Grizzlies Audio Streaming App with Tom Wilke, as well as on FloHockey with a paid subscription.
