Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies announced on Saturday morning that they have signed 2008 born forward; Hunter Ashton for the upcoming 2025-26 BCHL campaign.
Hunter, who stands at 6 foot 4 and 205 pounds, is from North Vancouver, BC and currently is playing with Burnaby Winter Club U18 Prep.
“We are pleased to have Hunter with us for the upcoming season,” said Geoff Grimwood Grizzlies Associate Coach and Director of Player Personnel. “He adds great size and hockey IQ and we could not be more pleased to welcome him and his family to Victoria.”
Hunter comes from a fabulous hockey family where his older brother was Luke was selected in the 6th round, 165th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in last years NHL Entry Level Draft after a showing year with the Langley Rivermen.
The Grizzlies would like to welcome Hunter and all of his family to Victoria and are pleased to have him for next season.
