Prince George, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies fell on Saturday night to the Price George Spruce Kings 8-2 in a tough loss to close out the trip.
Prince George was up 3-0 after 11:00 in the first before Oscar Pantzare found the goal for Victoria on a nice shot to the top right corner.
Prince George would go up 5-1 after 40 and start the 3rd on a long powerplay with Grizzlies forward Ryan Watt being assessed a five minute major and a game misconduct, along with a two minute minor for being an ineligible player.
Prince George scored twice on that advantage to kick off the third. Landon Mackie scored a consolation goal for the Grizzlies late in the game and the Spruce Kings would add one more for good measure.
Victoria looks to next weekend when Alberni Valley comes to town on Friday and Nanaimo comes to the Q Centre on Saturday night.
