The Victoria Grizzlies are facing a critical 2 games against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the Coastal Conference quarterfinals. After dropping the first two games of the series, the Grizzlies are determined to turn things around and force the Bulldogs back to the Dawg Pound for game 5.

In game 1, the Grizzlies put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell short, losing 7-5 to the Bulldogs. Veteran Owen Bohn recorded 2 goals along with Devon deVries and Nathan King both getting a goal and an assist. Game 2 was a tough outing for the Grizzlies, as they struggled to generate offense and were shut out 4-0 by the Bulldogs. Rookie goaltender Oliver Auyeung-Ashton stopped 34 out of 36 shots. The final 2 goals for the Bulldogs were scored on an empty net.

Now it’s time to turn our attention to game 3, which could be the pivotal point in the series. With the Grizzlies home crowd behind them they need to make a statement and show they aren’t going down easy. We know the Bulldogs will be coming out hard, but we’re ready for the challenge.
