VICTORIA, B.C. – The Victoria Grizzlies are proud to partner with Waterworks Irrigation, with the continued goal of changing the community that we live in for the better.
During this Grizzlies 30th anniversary season, Waterworks Irrigation will be donating $20 dollars to the Goldstream Foodbank for every goal that the Grizzlies score during this campaign both at home and on the road!
“Supporting the foodbank with the Grizzlies this year is about more than just providing meals—it’s about fostering a stronger, more connected community. Our hope is to show that when we unite our efforts, we can create a future where everyone can thrive. Together, we can make a real difference by combining our resources and passion, creating a ripple effect of kindness and generosity that extends far beyond the rink.” said Lee Kilsby from Waterworks Irrigation.
With new ownership and management, the Grizzlies have made it an organizational mission this off season to turn things around at the Q Centre by connecting with the Westshore and Langford community, while offering a more affordable and family-based entertainment product. This goal is embodied perfectly in this new promotion with Waterworks.
“We’re grateful for the continued support from our partners like Waterworks Irrigation. Initiatives like this can make a lasting difference in our community, so I hope our players fill the net all season long.”
The Goldstream Food Bank is a volunteer run organization serving the municipalities of; View Royal, Langford, Colwood, Highlands, East Sooke and Metchosin. The Grizzlies have worked on several different projects with them, including taking donations during Christmas time for cold weather kits.
