Grizzlies goalie, Zach Rose, from Paradise, Newfoundland, has just accepted a scholarship to Bowling Green State University to play for the NCAA Bowling Green Falcons for the 2019/2020 season.
Prior to joining the Grizzlies Zach played for Lake Forest Academy the previous three seasons. Rose recently played in net for gold medal winning Team Canada West at the 2017 World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Truro, N.S. During the tournament Rose allowed only seven goals on 120 shots for a 1.58 goals-against-average and .942 save percentage and was awarded tournament’s all-star netminder and most valuable player.
