The Victoria Grizzlies are excited to announce the signing of 07 Defenceman Reece Gault for the upcoming season.
Gault, from Oakbank, Manitoba, played last season with the MJHL’s Steinbach Pistons. Gault won the Pistons rookie of the year after posting 5 goals and 33 assists for 38 points in 52 games. Gault led all 2007-born defencemen in MJHL scoring last season.
“Reece is a skilled defenceman who we think will help us move the puck up the ice, and can chip in offensively for us,” said Grizzlies head coach and general manager Geoff Grimwood.
Gault is committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at the University of Northern Michigan.
