Grizzlies Trade For Veteran Defenseman

Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies announced on Monday morning that they have acquired 2005 born defenseman; Brody Juck from the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for future considerations.

 

Juck joins Victoria from Spruce Grove were he was playing in his third year in the BCHL and fourth year of junior with spending the 2023-24 season lighting up the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Brody spend the 2021-22 season with the Vancouver NE Chiefs U18 AAA program where he was teammates with Victoria netminder Oliver Auyeung-Ashton. As a 16 year old there he appeared in 14 games for the Coquitlam Express registering one point.

 

The following season, Brody would sign with the Trail Smoke Eaters and as a 17 year old he was very solid with four goals and eight points in 43 games. Last year he took his talents to the AJHL with the Lloydminster Bobcats where he was lights out. Brody recorded nine goals and 41 points in his 54 appearances. This year he has two goals and nine points in 33 games with Spruce Grove.

 

Juck is a solid young man, standing at six foot one and 195 pounds, hailing from Coquitlam, BC.
