Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies are excited and proud to announce that their captain and local product, Landon Mackie, has committed to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey at Stonehill College.
Landon’s commitment hits close to home for everyone around the Grizzlies organization and many fans who have been blessed to watch Landon’s development over the past four seasons. Landon began his Grizzlies career as a 16-year-old AP, appearing in 5 games during the 2022-23 season, then was in and out of the lineup as a 17-year-old, picking up five points in 42 appearances. He took a massive jump last season, scoring 17 goals and adding 34 points before being named team captain at the start of this campaign. Landon is a true story of development to the top with an unmatched work ethic.
The entire Grizzlies organization would like to congratulate both Landon and his entire family on his commitment to Stonehill, and can’t wait to see him do the franchise proud on a bigger stage!
