The Victoria Grizzlies are proud to announce that graduating forward Carter Oakenfold has committed to Brock Badgers for the 2026–27 season.
The Badgers compete in U Sports, the highest level of university hockey in Canada, offering student-athletes a competitive environment to continue their development while pursuing their education.
Oakenfold’s commitment shows his growth and consistency, and he’s earned the opportunity to continue his playing career.
“Carter became a huge part of our organization when we were able to acquire him in December,” said Grizzlies Head Coach & General Manager Geoff Grimwood. “As much as his play improved our roster, the impact he made in our dressing room was just as important.”
Oakenfold registered 10 goals and 20 assists for 30 points in the regular season, while adding a goal with 4 assists in the Grizzlies opening round vs the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
