Victoria, BC ~ Saturday night will mark the one and only game of the weekend for the Grizzlies who will look to improve to a perfect 3-0 on the year against the Langley Rivermen at 7 pm from the Q Center in Colwood.

Victoria (15-12-5) is coming off a battle (quite literally) against the Nanaimo Clippers last Saturday which saw them fall in overtime 3-2 after erasing deficits twice. The Grizzlies sit at 4th in the Coastal Conference, trailing the Coquitlam Express by two points.

Langley (10-19-3) will look for revenge Saturday against a Grizzlies team that has had their number this season, with the last time these two squads met ending with Nate King’s overtime winner.

The Rivermen knocked Victoria from the playoffs last season and there appears to be some memory of that from the Grizz who have played the Rivermen tough this year having allowed just one goal through their two first meetings.
