SILVERBACKS BEAT GRIZZLIES

Over 1100 fans were at Bear Mountain to cheer on the Grizzlies however it did not end they way they hoped as the Silverbacks defeated the Grizzlies 4-2.
 
Salmon Arm would get the lone goal in the first on the powerplay by Landon Smith to take the 1-0 lead.
 
During the second period the Grizzlies would tie the game early in the period with his first of the season Jacob Kearly, but it wouldn’t last long as Landon Smith would get his second of the night.
 
Still in the second period Gerry Fitzgerald from Albertini would tie the game up at two a piece but prior to the buzzer to end the second Taylor Maruya of the Silverbacks would score to make it 3-2 Silverbacks.
 
In the third Thomas Plese would settle it up at 15:55 to give the Silverbacks the 4-2 lead to end the game.
