The Victoria Grizzlies will play the Powell River Kings on Oct. 2 and Nanaimo Clippers on Oct. 3 at Prospera Centre in Chilliwack in the annual B.C. Hockey League Showcase presented by Bauer.

The Clippers will also meet the Surrey Eagles on Oct. 2 and the Kings will play the Langley Rivermen on Oct. 3. The Cowichan Valley Capitals will play the Rivermen on Oct. 2 and Eagles on Oct. 3. The Alberni Valley Bulldogs will meet the Chilliwack Chiefs on Oct. 2 and Merritt Centennials on Oct. 3.

All games count in the regular-season standings.

The annual Showcase is a popular one-stop shopping centre for NHL and NCAA scouts.

The Coastal Conference teams will gather to play two regular-season games each in Chiliwack from Oct 2-3 and the Interior Division teams will play twice each Oct. 4-5 at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, a portion of the Showcase that is new and added this season.

“Our Showcase has grown in stature since its inception in 2012 thanks to the great work done in Chilliwack and we feel the time is right to add another few layers to the proceedings,” said BCHL commissioner Chris Hebb.
