The Victoria Grizzlies are excited to announce that forward Owen Warnick will return for the 2026–27 BCHL season.
The 2006-born forward from Winnipeg, Manitoba returns for his final season of junior hockey after finishing second in team scoring last year with 16 goals and 29 assists for 45 points in 53 games.
Committed to Northern Michigan University, Warnick established himself as one of the Grizzlies’ most dependable players during the 2025–26 season. His offensive production, consistency and ability to play in all situations made him a key contributor throughout the year.
“We’re extremely excited to have Owen back for another season,” said Head Coach and General Manager Geoff Grimwood. “Owen brings a tremendous combination of skill, hockey sense and competitiveness. He was one of our most consistent players last season and will play an important role for our team, both on the ice and in our dressing room. Having a player of his experience and character return for his final year is a huge addition for our hockey club.”
With another year of BCHL experience under his belt, Warnick is expected to be a leader offensively while helping mentor the next generation of Grizzlies as the club pursues a championship in 2026–27.
