T.J. Friedmann has Accepted Scholarship with Quinnipiac Bobcats

The Victoria Grizzlies are excited to announce that Grizzlies centerman T.J. Friedmann has agreed to a scholarship with Quinnipiac Bobcats NCAA Division 1 Hockey Club.

“I’m excited to get to join a school like Quinnipiac. They have a great coaching staff with great facilities and a crazy hockey atmosphere.” commented Friedmann

Friedman will become a Bobcat beginning the 2019/2020 season. Friedmann, in his second season with the Grizzlies, was acquired from the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL, November 2016. Since arriving in Victoria, the St. Louis native has played 75 regular season games compiling 26 goals and 37 assists in that time.

The 6’3 right hander has been a offensive threat since stepping into the BCHL.

“I am very happy for TJ. He has not only contributed on offense but is also a very smart defensive centerman as well. With his size and ability and dedication to the game, I’m excited about where TJ’s career will eventually lead to.” said Grizzlies GM/Head Coach Craig Didmon.

Grizzlies fans should be pleased to know that T.J. Friedmann will be eligible to play a third season with the Grizzlies.
