A CONTINUED TRADITION OF SUCCESS
The Grizzlies not only have a proud history of providing great family entertainment to a generation of residents of the Capital of Vancouver Island; but has a great reputation of developing elite talent, and helping young athletes realize their dreams.
Countless Victoria Grizzlies have gone to NCAA Division 1 schools; as well as notable NHL draft picks, that include current NHL’ers like Jamie & Jordie Benn, Tyler Bozak, Tyson Barrie. Including Alex Newhook, a 2019 NHL first round draft pick).
The Team provides support to various outreach and mentorship programs like Help-Fill-a-Dream, Wounded Warrior, Saunders Foundation, Our Place, and Santa’s Anonymous - just to name a few.
1ST CLASS FACILITIES IN A WORLD CLASS CITY
The Victoria Grizzlies home, the Q Centre Arena, is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in beautiful Victoria, BC. The Q Centre is considered to be one of the premiere venues in the entire BCHL and has the feeling of a ‘big league’ venue seating 2700 spectators in a full bowl with 10 suites and an upper VIP mezanine with exclusive Club seating.

The Victoria Grizzlies (formally the Victoria Salsa) have enjoyed many years of success and helped to advance countless players on to play NCAA, NHL, and minor professional teams.

COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT
The Victoria Grizzlies organization provides its players with one of the strongest and most dedicated team of Academic Teams in the entire BCHL. Bolstered by an Ownership and Management philosophy that places post secondary education at the top of it’s objectives, our staff is well appointed to assist each player to achieve his academic goals!
Our Education Advisor, Butch Boucher is committed to ensuring our players are well advised of NCAA opportunities in all Conferences; and our Academic Advisor, Paul Jaswal maintains countless hours of tutoring, SAT prep, counselling and support weekly. In the last 10 years, the BCHL has averaged 103 players with scholarships in the league each season. That translates into more than $2 million annually for young players going to college hockey programs.

Giving Back to the Community offers our organization the opportunity to be successful & is a top priority for the Victoria Grizzlies.
The Victoria Grizzlies are committed to many not-forprofit organizations, schools and sport associations. We build solid partnerships, raise awareness and work hard to assist them in their fundraising efforts through a variety of programs.
It is imperative that each and every member of our team accepts the responsibility of being a Victoria Grizzlies ambassador both on and off the ice. We take great pride in our responsibility of giving back to the community who so generously provides valuable services to those who support us.
Volunteers and community are the back bone of our operations for whom without, there would be no Victoria Grizzlies Hockey club!
