Grizzlies Acquire Young Talent Silver From Bucks

Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies announced on Monday morning that they have acquired 2007 born forward; Max Silver from the Cranbrook Bucks in exchange for the BCHL playing rights to Tyson Moss.

Max, who hails from La Jolla, California, USA joins Victoria after appearing in 23 games for the Bucks. In those appearances he has a goal and three points in limited action. Prior to his time with Cranbrook he appeared in five games for the St. Cloud Norsemen of the NAHL where he registered one point.

Max is a product of the Loas Angeles Jr. Kings program where he had very prolific U15 AAA and U16 AAA seasons (last year and the year before). Last season in U16 AAA he had 33 goals and 71 points in just 57 games, which was impressive enough to draw the eyes of Colgate University  to where he is now committed.

Tyson Moss spent the first 23 games this season with the Grizzlies. He is currently with Medicine Hat of the WHL.

Silver will join the Grizzlies effective immediately.
