Nathan Looysen is enjoying not only his birthday this week but also a productive 20 year old season with the Victoria Grizzlies. The former Penninsula Minor hockey product also spent time with the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL two seasons ago. As well he played for the Victoria Cougars of the VIJHL this past season when he was awarded VIJHL MVP and VIJHL top forward 2015-2016
The Grizzlies acquired the offensively gifted forward in the off season and he quickly made his home on the right side of the Grizzlies most productive scoring line with Cole Pickup and Tyler Welsh. A left handed forward that likes to play on the right side; Looysen is always a threat when he gets the puck around the oppositions net.
