Spring Teams – The Victoria Grizzlies Hockey Club will have three Spring Teams this season in the BCSHL which will include teams at U18, U17 and U15.
The BCSHL is an independent spring program organized by BCHL teams to give players in their region the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of coaches and scouts from various levels of hockey.
Being involved with the BCSHL, you will get the full Junior experience.
Ty Waram Story – Ty began his journey with the Victoria Grizzlies in the spring of 2019 where he played spring hockey in the JSHL. With his strong showing that spring he earned an invite to the Grizzlies main camp where he was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to play in an exhibition game. Unfortunately, the JSHL 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID-19, however he was able to return to Grizzlies main camp on 2020 and made the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL.
A quote from Ty, “Playing in the JSHL game me the opportunity to see what life would be like in the BCHL with BCHL coaching and exposure.”
Ty is currently in his fourth season with the Victoria Grizzlies where he is the captain of the team and is committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey next season at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.

This sign-up sheet is a Declaration of Interest for one of these three teams. Teams will be selected by the coaching staff. Try-outs may be required if decisions cannot be made with coaching staff player knowledge.
The Victoria Jr Grizzlies Program is not sanctioned by Hockey Canada but rather run independently with private insurance. All coaches are however certified.
