Although Lucas Clark is in his first season with the Victoria Grizzlies, he has made a major impact on and off the ice and has become an instant fan favorite. The 19 yr old centerman has not only racked up close to 40 points this season, but has also been a thorn in the sides of the opposition’s top scorers.

At 6’2 and 200 plus pounds, Clark is a formidable force on the ice who can bring that physical edge at anytime; and  shows great speed and finesse when teams least expect.

As a former 2013- 5th round draft pick of the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL, it looked like the hard nosed center may be headed into Major Junior Hockey. However after a few set- back seasons,  at 18 years old, he decided to put hockey on the back burner and he went to work with the family plumbing business and play Junior C with his hometown team Port Perry Mojacks.

After leading his team to a league championship last season, he caught the eyes of a Grizzlies scout, and with the help of his former coach and other members of the community, he was encouraged again to take his game to a higher level. He decided to put down the plunger and head out west. The Grizzlies organization couldn’t be happier with his decision. Look for Clark to continue his dominance with the Grizzlies this season and next.
