Head to head (season series): – 2-2-0-0 – Today’s game against the Rivermen will be the fifth meeting between the teams this season. After not playing each other in the shortened pod season last season, the teams have produced some thrilling games on the season. Langley took the first two games, with the Grizzlies producing some high scoring wins in their third and fourth matches against the rivermen. Grizzlies: Noah Leibl – Leibl is coming off of his first career multi goal game with his heroics in last nights game against Nanaimo. He was named the first star of the game. The forward has found a role with the grizzlies since being acquired from Cranbrook and has totalled 6 points and 12 penalty minutes in 22 games since the trade. Leibl is riding a personal three game point streak coming into this afternoon’s game so watch for him to try to build off his recent success
Rivermen: – Ryan Upson – the fourth year forward is enjoying a breakout season, scoring at just under a point per game pace with 40 points in 44 games. He is coming into the game on a personal four game point streak where he has 7 points.
