Thanksgiving Weekend the Victoria Grizzlies were thankful to pull off two big wins on Friday and Saturday night.
On Friday Night the Nanaimo Clippers were in our den where we took the 4-2 victory, Brandon Egli and Mitch Crisanti would net one goal each while Gerry Fitzgerald added two powerplay goals in the win.
And on Saturday night the Grizzlies were in Port Alberni were they shut the door on the Bulldogs beating them 5-1.
Chris Albertini, David Walchuk, Jesse Schwartz, Storm Wahlrab and Gerry Fitzgerald had the Grizzlies goals while Alec Dillon kicked away 24 shots.
The Grizzlies now move to 6-5-1 on the season. The Grizz are in Nanaimo on Wednesday.
