Victoria Grizzlies’ Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game: A Heartwarming Tradition Continues

Mark your calendars for a night of holiday joy and community spirit as the Victoria Grizzlies host their annual Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday, December 2nd, at 6:00 PM at the Q Centre. This festive event is in support of the Zones Toy Drive and CFAX Santa’s Anonymous, bringing smiles to the faces of children in need.

In the true spirit of giving, fans are encouraged to bring Teddy bears wrapped in plastic bags to the game. The magic begins when the Grizzlies score their first goal — fans will joyfully toss their bears onto the ice, creating a heartwarming spectacle and filling the arena with the spirit of the season.

All collected Teddy bears will be donated to local charities, ensuring that children in our community experience the magic of the holidays. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together, share in the festive spirit, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

This game holds special significance as the Grizzlies face off against the Cranbrook Bucks for the first time in the Q Centre.
