Join the Victoria Grizzlies at their game on Friday, Sept.16 evening at 7:00pm when they will pay special tribute to Carter Navarrete. Carter’s parents and siblings will drop the puck and his teammates will take part in a presentation to honour Carter.
We would like to encourage local Minor Hockey players and families to come out and show their support for the family. Minor hockey players will be able to get into the game at a discounted rate of $5.
Donations will be accepted and proceeds from the 50/50 will go to Carter’s favourite charity, SPCA Paws for a Cause. The SPCA will be at the game but if you would prefer to donate online, the Navarrete family has set up a special page for that: http://support.spca.bc.ca/goto/inhonourofcarter
Carter was coached by Grizzlies Head Coach Craig Didmon who also played hockey with Carter’s father in Midget. Carter’s brother Cole helped the team by writing the Game Day Reports for the Grizzlies last season and volunteered at countless Grizzlies games.
