U15 HC – Jesse Saban

Jesse joins our team with an impressive hockey background. Jesse grew up playing hockey in Lindsay, Ontario and moved at an early age to continue towards an elite level. Jesse played minor hockey for the Central Ontario Wolves before moving to Toronto to play hockey for the Toronto Redwings in the GTHL. Jesse was drafted 21st overall to the Erie Otters in 2015. Jesse played one year of Junior A hockey with the Newmarket Hurricanes in the OJHL before joining the Erie Otters in the fall of 2014. Jesse went on to play 5 years in the OHL with the Erie Otters, Belleville Bulls, Hamilton Bulldogs, and finished off his career as an Assistant Captain with the North Bay Battalion. After the OHL, Jesse went on scholarship to play hockey at the University of Guelph. Jesse was named an Assistant Captain in his second year and went on to attend 2 Canadian National Championships and winning the Queens Cup. Jesse found a passion for coaching and helping youth hockey players learn the game. Jesse began his coaching background with the Lindsay Youth Summer Development program and the Guelph Gryphons youth development program. Since moving to the island, Jesse has worked with Brandon Wong Skills Development, Transform Sports on-ice development, and has coached with Victoria Racquet Club.

U15 AC – Adam Geric

Adam began Transform in 2017 and has had the privilege of working with athletes of all sports and all ages, up to NHL stars.

After his playing career with the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL, Adam got degrees in both Exercise Science and Sport Management while playing for the Newcastle North Stars in the AIHL and representing team Australia at the IIHF World Championships.

Upon graduating Adam became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) while coaching the Island Royals U18AAA team. While coaching, Adam began Transform with local hockey players. Many of these players went on to play Jr A, college, and now pro hockey. Fast forward 7 years and Transform is now home to over 1000 athletes! Transform hosts a wide array of programs and teams in our private Performance Centre.

Adam has branched Transform into not only a training facility, but now operates a full time Hockey Academy, providing elite players with strength training, on-ice skill development and academics. Adam’s latest venture is the formation of Transforms first hockey team, the Transform Predators. Adam takes an all-encompassing approach to athlete development and focuses on much more than strength to build a complete athlete. Once a foundation is developed, Adam tailors training to individual needs and sport specific focuses. Adam thrives on providing a positive and energetic environment to get the most out of each athlete whether it is in the gym, on the ice, or in the classroom.
