SECONDS TO GO….CENT’S SCORE TO WIN

Everyone thought it was going to overtime but the Centennials would prove that wrong as they beat the Grizzlies 4-3.

The Grizzlies did not start strong as within the first four minutes the Centennials would score two goals, first at 1:22 by Diego Cuglietta and second on the powerplay by Sebastien Pare but before the first period ran out Gerry Fitzgerald from Mitch Meek would get the Grizzlies within one goal.

During the second period not much action by both sides but Victoria would get on the board to tie the game two a piece by Jesse Schwartz assisted by McLellan and Myles Fitzgerald.

The third period was full of fireworks of all kinds – early in the third period on the powerplay the Grizzlies would get the lead for first time of the game with his second of the game Jesse Schwartz, however the Centennials would tie it up at 16:44 by Payton Schaefer and when we thought it was going to overtime we were proven wrong as Centennials James Neil would score with .8 seconds to go to win the game

Grizzlies play Prince George Spruce Kings tomorrow.
