Victoria, BC – The Victoria Grizzlies concluded their regular season with two road victories against the Coquitlam Express, securing home ice advantage for their upcoming clash against the Nanaimo Clippers. In Saturday’s matchup, with just 4:33 remaining in the third period, Jacksenn Hungle netted the decisive goal, securing a thrilling 5-4 victory for the Grizzlies. Goalkeeper Oliver Auyeung-Ashton demonstrated his prowess by deflecting 42 of 46 attempts from the Express.

Sunday’s game saw Elliot Dutil kickstart the scoring early at 1:23, ultimately sealing the 4-0 victory for the Grizzlies. The third period saw additional goals from Pelletier, marking his 20th of the season, as well as Watt and Chase Pirtle, who notched his 25th goal, capturing top spot in rookie league scoring.
