VICTORIA PROSPECTS CAMP SCHEDULE

The Victoria Grizzlies summer 2021-22 id camp schedule.

We are excited to be hosting a Prospects ID Camp in Victoria, BC on July 16-18 . We are looking for future Grizzlies players; for this season and seasons to follow.

We sign the bulk of our players out of our ID camps

The purpose of these camps is to allow our Hockey Operations staff to identify players that are ready to step into the Grizzlies lineup for the 2021-2022 season and beyond. We sign the bulk of our players out of our ID camps, therefore this is a step in becoming a Jr. A player, and every experience is a positive process in the right direction to reaching your hockey goals.

The Victoria Grizzlies current coaching staff and scouting staff will be in attendance for the camp and the coaches will be running the on ice sessions. Kerry Park Islanders of the VIJHL will be assisting with these sessions as well. You will receive an interview following the camp and receive feedback on your current strengths and areas to work on. The camp will also feature an Educational Session for you and your parents to bring clarity to the advantages of the BCHL and how it is a viable path to the NCAA/CIS and the NHL.

The Victoria Grizzlies are an organization whose initiative is to advance players onto college and pro hockey. Developing players for hockey and life successes is our motivation. We are very proud of the countless number of players we have helped move onto the next level and the number of scholarships that our players receive!

About Our Prospects Camps

Our organization has decided to take a slightly different approach to recruiting whereas we will start to sign and commit to players two to three years out so that we can get more involved in preparing our recruits for the rigors of JR A Hockey and College Hockey for that matter. We feel by having the Prospect Camp, with more individual time, we can secure and identify the next Grizzlies thru our new camp philosophy. With this introduction and proper tracking, follow-up and support we can help players at an earlier age on attaining their goals.

With this in mind it is a pleasure to identify you as one of those players we wish to invite and hope that you see this as an exciting opportunity for your future. The camp will include an up to date understanding of the NCAA program and its offerings. You will meet our entire staff and have the time to ask questions from training, school and even billeting. You will meet our senior management team and have time to tour the facility and see firsthand what we do for you the player.

The Victoria Grizzlies are proud of our tradition of putting kids on to the next level and looking at our recent track record of players such as the Benn’s, Barrie, Bozak, O’Byrne, Pettinger, DeJong, Zanon, and Voros to name just a few.
