The Q Centre ~ The Victoria Grizzlies are set to quickly turn the page on their 5-4 shootout loss last night to the Nanaimo Clippers, and welcome the Powell River Kings into town at 1:00 PM to close out their pre season schedule.
Victoria started the game off on the wrong foot last night and it came back to bite them as they found themselves down 4-1 within the first 11 minutes of the game. Their thrilling comeback saw two goals from Reegan Hiscock and a goal and an assist from Chase Pirtle.
Victoria was 4-3 against the Kings last year, a team that found themselves being the only team out of the post season in 2023-24. Powell River is 0-3 in the pre season with shutout losses to both Nanaimo and Alberni Valley and a 8-5 loss last night against the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
