Coquitlam, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies look to continue their hot play as of late tonight from the Poirier Sport and Leisure Centre in Coquitlam.
Victoria has won three in a row and are now 6-1-1 in their last eight games played. A big part of that has been Chase Pirtle who had the overtime winner last night in Surrey and now has 10 goals in his last 12 games played. The Far Hills, New Jersey native seems to been on the right track.
Victoria went 4-0 against the Express last season and out scored them 10-5 on the road. This is however a completely different Express team who have been hot to start. They are currently 3rd in the Coastal Conference at 11-5-3 with an overtime loss last night at home against Alberni Valley.
Coquitlam bolsters a dangerous brand of hockey which sees them score a lot but give up a lot as well. Joseph Odyniec is their big gun up front with 13 goals this season.
Tonightโs battle for third place in the conference goes at 7:00 PM PT. Catch all the action live with voice of the Grizzlies, Tom Wilke, live on the Grizzlies Radio Network on MixLr with the pre game show starting at 6:40.
