GRIZZLIES RAISING MONEY FOR “COPS FOR CANCER”

The Victoria Grizzlies are honored and excited to partner with Reynolds Secondary School to help raise money for Cops for Cancer this year.

Grizzlies starting goaltender Nic Renyard is an alumni at Reynolds and came up with the idea to partner together to try and raise $3,000 on behalf of the Victoria Grizzlies Hockey Club.

Below are the ways the Grizzlies are trying to raise money:

1.       Twoonie Toss – September 28th during 1st intermission

2.       Game Day Tickets will be sold at Reynolds Secondary School for $5 – proceeds going towards Cops for Cancer

3.       Raffle – information to still be released

And lastly four of our local players have stepped up to WAX their legs for cancer!

How it will work;

The player who raises the most money by the end of the second period on the September 28th game will have to wax their legs immediately following the game in front of fans, teammates and media.

During the 27th and 28th games we will have donation boxes but you can also donate online at; www.copsforcancerbc.ca and search Victoria Grizzlies.
