Mega 50/50 Reaches $50,150 — Winner Takes Home $25,075
What started as a guaranteed $25,000 jackpot turned into the biggest 50/50 moment in Victoria Grizzlies history.
Thanks to the support of Verity Construction and the South Island Home Team, the Mega 50/50 launched with a guaranteed $25,000 prize and climbed all the way to $50,150.
Yesterday, local fan Bryce Binder was announced as the winner, taking home $25,075.
But the impact didn’t stop there.
The Victoria Grizzlies are proud to confirm that the remaining amount will be donated directly to the Sooke Transition House Society — keeping those dollars right here in our community.
“This is Bear Country at its best,” said Grizzlies President David Michaud. “Our fans showed up in a big way. Because of that, we were able to celebrate a major win for our team, Bryce, and the Sooke Transition House Society. This is a meaningful contribution to an organization that provides critical support for individuals and families in need.”
The Sooke Transition House Society delivers essential services for individuals facing crisis and transition, and this donation will help further that important work. You can learn more about the Sooke Transition House Society here: https://www.sooketransitionhousesociety.com/
The Grizzlies extend their gratitude to Verity Construction, the South Island Home Team, and every fan who purchased a ticket and helped grow the jackpot to over $50,000.
When the community comes together, everyone wins!
