On a rare Wednesday night the Victoria Grizzlies were at Frank Crane Arena in Nanaimo to take on the Clippers and right from puck drop they silence the crowd.
In the first period the Grizzlies would score three unanswered goals, first at 3:23 Storm Wahlrab, second at 12:04 by Myles Fitzgerald and then at 19:01 on the powerplay Myles would get his second of the game.
During the second the Grizzlies would get on the board once by Gerry Fitzgerald, and then in the Third the Clippers would attempt to come back scoring three goals, but it wasn’t enough as Dante Hahn would put away at 17:03 with a nifty breakaway goal to take the game 5-3.
The Grizzlies are now 7-5-1-0 on the season; next up Cowichan Capitals are at our den on Friday night.
